Creativity is key for our Community Manager to keep the community engaged. This involves not only generating creative content but also innovating in content formats, such as interactive posts, live sessions, or multimedia content.Job Responsibilities will include, but not limited to:
- Community Building: Develop and implement strategies to build and nurture a vibrant online and offline community around the organization's mission.
- Engage with community members through various channels, fostering a sense of belonging and shared purpose
- Plan and execute community events, both virtual and in-person.
- Content Creation and Curation: Generate and curate content that resonates with the community and aligns with the organization's messaging.
- Manage content calendars for community platforms, ensuring a consistent and engaging presence.
- Encourage user-generated content and facilitate storytelling within the community.
- Social Media Management: Oversee social media platforms to enhance community interaction and brand visibility.
- Respond to community queries and feedback promptly and professionally.
- Monitor social media trends and incorporate them into community engagement strategies.
- Data Analysis & Reporting: Utilize analytics tools to measure community engagement and sentiment.
- Provide regular reports on key performance indicators and insights to improve community strategies.
Lead the marketing team and be responsible for ensuring that the team achieves agreed objectives and is both challenged and supported.The following abilities, skills and qualifications are needed to perform best on the job:
- 3+ years of experience in community management or a related role.
- BSc/BA in Marketing, Communications or a related field; MSc/MA is a plus
- Proficiency in social media platforms and community management tools.
- Strong organizational and project management skills.
- An analytical, structured, independent way of working and a high degree of hands-on mentality.
- Ideas on how to keep us at the top of our game! Creativity and a passion for engaging our community will be key to our success.
- Ability to work independently and a dedicated, self-motivated approach to work.
- Your professional approach is one of strong communication and collaboration mixed with a high drive for action & impact.
- Located in Hamburg or Munich.

As we evolved, we consolidated our various activities and became a leader in youth health and prevention, offering a holistic approach to promote health literacy and informed decision-making. With a deep respect for diversity and the importance of meeting young people on their level, we continued to expand and internationalize our programs, build strong partnerships, and inspire many individuals to join us.
In 2023, after the challenges posed by the Covid-19 pandemic, we emerged stronger, with a new team and offices in Hamburg, Johannesburg, and Los Angeles.
